Expecting Parents Looking for Larger Living Situation and Rockers/Recliners (Posted 2/3/12)

New Life members and Intern Aaron & Brook Harding are expecting a baby in July! They are going to need a bit more living space than the 450 sq ft studio they are in now. Their budget is limited but were wondering if anyone would know of a larger living space. They are also looking for recliners/rockers if anyone has one or two they are not using. Please contact Aaron or Brook if you can help.
    Thanks so much!

Needed: Clothing, Shoes and Other Essentials (Posted 12/9/11)

I am helping a family this Christmas – believers, and deserving. If anyone has good used (or new) clothing or shoes or other items – 2 yr old girl, size 8 or 10 boy, size 10 or 12 girl, four teens (girls) = ages 13 thru 17 – more on the medium to large size – shoes ranging from 7 to 9. Two adult women and one man – man medium, both women pretty large. I would love to be able to help them more, but am doing groceries, which they desperately need. They would not mind hand-me-downs at all. The little girl especially loves to look pretty for church. Please help if you can. If you can help, please email GrammaNancy@cox.net. Thanks, Nancy Benson

Jewelry for Sale to Benefit Building Fund (Posted 12/5/11)

Building Fund REWARDS. The gross proceeds from the sale of jewelry that I make is donated to the Building Fund. A photo sharing website has been created that has pictures and brief descriptions along with prices. At this time I am not dealing with on-line sales so if you see something that appeals to you, phone Ruby Wiens 760 233 7829 or email redwiens@gmail.com and I will be happy to bring the item(s) to church or make agreeable arrangements for you to see the items before making a commitment. Make your tax deductible checks out to New Life Presbyterian Church and note Bldg Fund in the “For” space. It would be nice if whatever you spend on a piece of jewelry would be over the amount you have already designated to the Building Fund :)

IÂ’m sorry about the complicated address to get to the photo sharing site but so far I have not been able to resolve getting it to be something simple. If any computer techies can give me a clue, it would be appreciated.
