The Youth & Family Group's Rummage Sale is schedule for Friday and Saturday, February 24 and 25! We welcome all household items and gently used clothing you would care to donate or this Mexico Mission Trip Fundraiser in our Youth Building. The sale will be open only to our New Life Family & Friends for a "Preview Sale" on Thursday evening from 6-9pm and then open to the public Friday from 8am to 2pm and Saturday 8am to 12 noon. Please keep thi sin mind as you are cleaning out your garage and closets! This summer, June 18-22, our New Life Youth and Family Group will be building three wonderful houses for needy Mexican families in the Tijuana area. Your donations will be greatly appreciated! We will start collecting items Monday, February 20th in the Youth Building and hope you will come find "treasures" February 23-25! Happy Birthday, Pastor Ted! New Life Families: join us for Family Night every Wednesday when we offer Bible studies and programs for the entire family! There is a program for boys from 1st through 5th grades (The Gibborim), a program for girls from 1st through 5th grades (The Girls of Faith), a Bible Study for women, a Bible study for men, and Youth Group for kids in 6th through 12th grades. We have reserved rooms at the beautiful Borrego Springs Resort and Spa the night of Friday, April 27 (www.borregospringsresort.com). This will be a wonderful opportunity to meet other women, discuss a topic of spiritual relevance (to be determined), enjoy the beautiful outdoors (while staying in the beautiful indoors!), and get away from the daily routine! Join us on the 3rd Tuesday morning of every month for Mothers Together, which aims to provide opportunities for younger women and moms of young children to get to know godly and wise older women in the church and learn from them in the tradition of Titus 2. The format for our meetings will consist of a panel discussion covering a variety of topics, Q & A, and small group discussion and prayer. We will be covering topics such as raising kids through the various stages, marital relationships, and other related topics. We will also be meeting on the first Tuesday of each month for a playdate at a local park. Reading With Lewis: You are cordially invited to join the once-a-month group to discuss the books by C.S. Lewis. Our next meeting is on Tuesday, February 28 at 7:00pm. We will be discussing two essays from God in the Dock: "Miracles" and "What Are We to Make of Jesus Christ?" The Women's Christian Reading Challenge meets on the second Tuesday of each month in the church library. Members read one book each month from a different genre. We report on our books over a cup of coffee, offering accountability and encouragement to each other to keep going and complete the challenge.
